ModaMortgages added to MAB lender panel; Paradigm brings on Positive Lending as referral partner – round-up

Specialist lender ModaMortgages has been added to Mortgage Advice Bureau’s (MAB) lender panel.

By being added to MAB’s lender panel, MAB’s advisers, which numbers at over 2,000, can access ModaMortgages’s range of buy-to-let products.

ModaMortgages, which opened to the wider broker market earlier this year, offers deals to landlords with small or large portfolios, individuals, limited companies, first-time buyers and first-time landlords.

The lender also lends on both houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) and multi-unit freehold blocks (MUFBs).

ModaMortgages’ director of sales and distribution, Darrell Walker, said: “I’m pleased to announce our immediate inclusion on MAB’s lender panel

“This development provides all their mortgage advisers with access to our proposition. I believe our broker-centric approach will really appeal to brokers who are looking to add real value and will prove to be an immediate success.”

Rachel Geddes, strategic lender relationship director at MAB, added: “We’re excited to be welcoming ModaMortgages to our lenders’ panel.

“We’re always looking to work with lenders who place innovation at the heart of everything they do and support our broker partners to find more solutions for our customers. ModaMortgages’ broker-friendly proposition, clear and transparent criteria, and competitive rates will really resonate with brokers looking to meet their customers’ specialist borrowing needs.”

Paradigm adds Positive Lending to referral partner panel

Paradigm has added specialist packager Positive Lending to its panel of referral partners, allow its advisers to refer and introduce clients to the lender.

Positive Lending partners with over 120 specialist lenders, covering second charge, bridging, commercial and semi-commercial mortgages, development finance, equity release, retirement interest-only, specialist residential mortgages, complex buy-to-let mortgages, adverse and credit-impaired mortgages.

The new relationship with Paradigm means that it will share its packager-only exclusive s and restricted products with Paradigm’s member firms.

Richard Howes, director of mortgages at Paradigm, said: “The increasing complexity, particularly within specialist lending, can sometimes make it difficult for advisers to be 100% comfortable advising and recommending in this space. Especially as these product areas shift so regularly, with large amounts of competition, and client cases which are often anything but vanilla.

“To that end, it makes sense to partner with a specialist packager and distributor in this sector, and we’re therefore very pleased to start this new relationship with Positive Lending to provide our member firms with access to an expert in its field, with huge advice experience and know-how, plus access to products and lenders that are second to none.

“We know Positive has an excellent team that can support the needs of Paradigm and our firms in this area and we’re looking forward to opening up further specialist lending options to ensure advisers can deliver excellent client outcomes.”

David Coleman, head of sales at Positive Lending, added: “We are thrilled to partner with Paradigm, expanding access to our comprehensive range of specialist lending solutions. This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to empowering brokers with innovative products, exclusive opportunities, and exceptional support to meet the diverse borrowing needs of their clients.”
